10 Food Preservation (Dairy)
In this continuation of our food preservation series, we cover the preservation of milk from cows, sheep, and goats. We focus primarily on preserving milk fats as butter, milk sugars as yogurt, and milk proteins into cheese.
On top of how to make butter and yogurt, we even share basic recipes for cream cheese, ricotta, and gouda!
We also briefly go over alternative ways to preserve dairy such as Kefir, Koumis, freezing, drying, and canning.
If you like our show, please give us a follow, leave a review, and if you can support us on patreon. We offer early access to episodes, bonus content, and a direct line to the Rev Garden team.

The Revolutionary's Garden recognizes that we are farming occupied Abanaki land. While we are still doing research and reaching out, we are saving a portion of the shows income to pay to the Abanaki people in the form of rent.
Today we are recommending our first book series as opposed to a podcast. We would like to recommend Storey's Guide books, a series of guides covering every kind of livestock you could raise. They are comprehensive, easy to read, and affordable.
Thank you for listening!
