About Us
The Rev Garden team
We’re a small team operating in the United States, dedicated to educating our communities. There are so many great resources out there about revolutionary history and theory, so we’re focusing on food and food security to do our part.
Agitate
We will work tirelessly to point out the deepply embeded flaws in our food systems, the widespread injustice that results, and solutions on how to fix it. The issue of food is not one of just the conflict between rich and poor. Food is used to divide and american food policy is an extension of its own imperialsim.
Educate
Our number one goal is to bring practical knowledge and wisdom into the hands of those that can use it. Food is an essential resource, and knowing how to grow, prepare, and distribute food is key to our very survival.
Organize
Not only is food neccessary for survival, but it is a cultural and organizational keystone in any community. Rallying arounf and organizing around food security can be key for any movement to gain traction . Our greatest hope is that listeners will use our podcast as a resource to organize their own community food security programs.
